MEASUREMENT PERFORMANCE

The SST400 is available in ±1°, ±5°, ±10°, ±15°, ±30°, ±45°, ±60°, ±80°, ±90°, ±180° and 0-360° ranges. Standard performance includes accuracy up to ±0.005° at 25°C, 0.0005° resolution and zero-point repeatability of ≤±0.004°. Cross-axis error is ±0.2% FS, with optional ±0.1% or ±0.05% configurations.

For selected digital-output models with ±1° to ±15° ranges, optional high-precision versions provide accuracy ratings of ±10 or ±5 arcseconds, 0.0005° resolution and zero-point repeatability of ≤±4 arcseconds. Optional triaxial acceleration measurement provides a ±2 g range, accuracy of ≤±1 mg and noise density of ≤35 μg/√Hz.

RESPONSE AND VIBRATION CONTROL

Three response profiles support different operating requirements:

- Fast-motion type: approximately 0.2 s response with adjustable filter coefficient from 0.1 to 0.5 s
- General type: approximately 0.3 s response with adjustable filter coefficient from 0.2 to 0.5 s
- Long-term monitoring type: approximately 1.0 s response with adjustable filter coefficient from 0.2 to 2 s

The digital output is factory-set to 5 Hz and can be configured up to 50 Hz, while analog output operates at 50 Hz. The integrated MEMS accelerometer and proprietary vibration-suppression technology allow filtering behavior to be adjusted online to suit site conditions. Vibration resistance covers 5-2000 Hz, with an optional 2 g peak-to-peak Z-axis configuration and an inclination response time of 0.3 s.

OUTPUT AND COMMUNICATION OPTIONS

- RS485: Modbus or HEX protocol over twisted pair
- CAN 2.0B: configurable baud rate from 5 kbit/s to 1 Mbit/s, with supported cable length up to 10 km depending on network settings
- CANopen: configurable baud rate from 5 kbit/s to 1 Mbit/s
- RS485 + 4-20 mA dual output: maximum current-loop load below 600 Ω
- RS485 + 0.5-4.5 VDC dual output: load impedance below 100 Ω

Voltage- and current-output models include a standard RS485 interface for field configuration and inclination-data output. Digital models use an M12 5-pin or 7-pin connector, while analog-output models use an M12 8-pin connector.
